The community of Pescadero is rich in history. There is a Wiki Page devoted to Pescadero. Pescadero State Beach is just west of town along Highway One.
In town, there is famous Duarte's Tavern, as well as Arcangeli's Grocery. And just north of town is the Pescadero Creek Inn, a nice place to visit. Every August, the Pescadero Arts and Fun Festival is held, with arts and crafts, rides and great food, along with live entertainment for all ages. On the web, Southcoast.net provides links to area attrations and community services. The Pescadero Conservation Alliance is working on conservation issues on the south coast. |
